Liveurope welcomes Santeria Toscana 31

Announced at the MIL Festival in Lisbon on Friday, March 29th, Liveurope has grown by one family member: Milan's Santeria Toscana 31 has become Liveurope's first aspiring member, having been chosen from dozens of applications from some of Europe's most outstanding concert venues. This is the very first time that Liveurope invited concert halls around the continent to apply for aspiring membership, which would give them observer status within the platform and a privilege to be the next in line to ascend to full membership. 

The competition between the applications was fierce and it is wonderful to see the amount of concert venues that are dedicated to diversifying their programming and becoming a part of a network that aspires to boost the careers of emerging European artists. Liveurope's first and foremost priority is growing the platform. It is our mission to create an inclusive and diverse platform that will in due time have representatives from all countries on the European continent. Santeria Toscana 31 was chosen due to their superb reputation on the Italian music landscape and their true drive to include more emerging European artists in their programming, as well as their enthusiasm to be the voice of the Italian emerging touring artists. 

The addition of Milan's Santeria Toscana 31 means that there will be the first Italian representative within the Liveurope network, growing the number of countries represented to 15.  Italy has a very vibrant and dynamic live music scene, with dozens of export-ready emerging acts ready to start their international tours. For these bands, Santeria is known as the benchmark for reaching the next level of live music performance. We are looking forward towards a great collaboration between our existing members and our newest addition.
