PrimaveraPRO 2016 highlights

For the second year in a row, Liveurope was present under the sun of Barcelona. We were delighted to be part of the top-level programme of Primavera Sound's professional edition, PrimaveraPRO 2016 (1–5.6.2016).

On Thursday the 2 June, we had the chance to show how the first half of our second season has gone along. The panel discussion Liveurope: When concert venues work together took place in Auditori Meier in the beautiful building of MACBA. The discussion was especially focused on the member venues' point of view, handlig the topics such as the practical functioning of Liveurope, platform's future ambitions and its model for expanding the network. The speakers in the debate were Naiara Lasa (Sala Apolo/Barcelona), Ditte Sig Kramer (VEGA/Copenhagen), Eyvind Brox (Blå/Oslo), and Kurt Overbergh (Ancienne Belgique/Brussels). The discussion was moderated by the platform coordinator Fabien Miclet.

On Friday, we held a platform meeting with our team of members to catch up and plan ahead the autumn's activities.
