Eurosonic 2017: it's a wrap!

For the third consecutive year , Liveurope joined the music extravaganza at ESNS in Groningen this January 11-14.

As a global hub of emerging European music for both artists & industry professionals, Eurosonic was the perfect occasion to come back on the Music Moves Europe programme.

Launched in 2016 and bringing together more than 50 music organizations around the European Commission to shape the EU's music agenda, this cycle of high-level discussions has proven very promising. So what has been achieved? What is still to be tackled? And most importantly where do we go from here?

Around the table, some of the most influential players in the music debate voiced  their position on the subject (Anna Hildur, Nordic Music Export; Helen Sildna, Talinn Music Week; Matthieu Philibert, Impala)  through a dialogue with representatives from the European Commission (Barbara Gessler, DG EAC). The exchange was be moderated by Liveurope platform coordinator Fabien Miclet and journalist Manfred Tari.
