Covid-19 update in Liveurope venues

Covid-19 has severely hit the live music sector, including all the music venues that are gathered in our platform.  By taking the threat represented by this crisis very seriously, our venues are following all precautions and guidelines given by their respective authorities. Some have even anticipated the imposed bans and took it upon themselves to close their doors to the general public for a certain amount of time.

Event cancellations, drop in ticket sales, technical layoffs.... The effects of this unprecedented crisis are hard to fully measure yet but it will have a substantial impact on the international circulation of artists. For live music spaces and venues in particular, the recovery will be long and this will impede their capacity to take risks in showcasing the diversity of European programming.
