Liveurope is coming to the 2020 edition of Mercat de Musica Viva de Vic
We are excited to be taking part in this year’s edition of the Mercat de Musica Viva de Vic (MMVV) - one of the most important music markets in Spain. The market will take place between 14 and 19 September, and includes a timely conference programme dedicated to music professionals held entirely online.
Our participation in MMVV will include a public presentation of our platform to the conference delegates and a special speed meeting between Liveurope programmers and Catalan and Balearic artists. This will allow us to further strengthen our ties with the music scenes of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands and seed new opportunities for the artists from the region to play abroad.
This collaboration is developed in the framework of Soundcat – a joint project established between the Institut Ramon Llull and Liveurope in 2019 with the goal of boosting the circulation of emerging Catalan and Balearic artists across the 16 venues of our platform.
Check the schedule below:
Wednesday, 16 September, 11:30 – 12:30: Presentation of the Liveurope platform during the webinar ‘What is going on in Europe?’
Friday, 18 September, 16:00 – 17:00: Speed meeting between Liveurope programmers and Catalan and Balearic artists/managers
Participation to the Mercat de Musica Viva de Vic 2020 is by registration only. Learn more here.
