A reincarnation of a Ukrainian stone-carrier ship, the inauguration of A38 in 2003 gave this vessel a new lease of life on the Danube. A beacon for popular live music, A38 has become synonymous with Budapest’s entire cultural scene. Besides its rich and eclectic music programming with a strong focus on emerging acts, A38 also occasionally hosts professional conferences, cinema screenings, literature readings and even gastronomy events.
