Altın Gün

Altin Gün ( meaning ‘Golden Day’) is a  band from Amsterdam that mixes Turkish folk music, songs that have been passed down from generation to generation, with funk rhythm. The band consists of musicians from very different backgrounds, Turkish, Indonesian and as Dutch as it can be. They see their music as a way to open all kinds of doors. The music feels like a stream that  sounds exceptionally rich, danceable and mind-expanding.
