Musicbox

Opened in 2006 in Lisbon’s famous pink street in Cais do Sodré, Musicbox has quickly become one of the most acclaimed live music venues in the city. Hosting around 200 concerts and 250 clubbing nights a year, Musicbox is a cross between a performance stage and a dance floor. Located in a converted 19th-century warehouse, the original cobblestone walls and the arched ceiling lend the place a deep cavernous feel, highlighted by the state-of-the-art sound system and lighting. Musicbox's programming is independent and eclectic, showcasing relevant national and international artists, boosting new projects and always following new trends. The venue is also one of the organisations behind the annual music convention and showcase MIL - Lisbon International Music Network.
