Liveurope is a pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote European music diversity.
Our key mission is to give incentives to concert venues to promote the circulation of up-and-coming European artists through a bonus mechanism and a European quality label.
We support concert venues that are active in the promotion of emerging European talent in order to create lasting effects in the cross-border circulation of European repertoire.
Established in 2014 with the co-funding of the Creative Europe programme of the EU, our platform is the first initiative of its kind in Europe.
Our members
Liveurope gathers international concert venues across Europe. The member venues are selected for their commitment to booking diverse European artists, as well as their highly professional infrastructure and world-class reputation.
Over the years, our platform of iconic concert venues has been growing consistently, from 13 venues in 2014 to 24 venues in 24 European countries today. We aim to continue expanding in the future to include more concert halls across Europe and consolidate Liveurope as the defining quality label for European concert venues.

Our model
We provide support in the form of a financial bonus to our member venues, proportionally to their bookings of emerging, European, non-national acts.
The idea is to give concert venues both an incentive and a safety net to take more risks to promote the diversity of the European music scene to their audiences.
In short, we support the shows organised by our venues, who are completely autonomous in their choice of programming. In order to be eligible, the artists booked must fulfil a set number of criteria.
To be eligible for Liveurope support, the artists must:
- reside in a Creative Europe country or Switzerland and be playing in a music venue outside their home country;
- have a valid demonstration of professional entourage and a proven dedication to building an international career;
- have published at least one music work (EP, LP, albums, …) featuring original material. However, their first release must be less than 5 years old.
