Women to the Front: Celebrating the Future Sound of Europe

For International Women's Day we are bringing back our “Women to the Front” playlist, celebrating powerful female and gender-diverse voices shaping the future of the European music scene.

Curated by our venues' bookers, the playlist spotlights the next generation of women-led bands and bold vocalists. We’ve mapped out the sound of tomorrow: from gnarly Dutch punk and 90's noise rock from North Macedonia, to intimate Portuguese-Belgian pop and sleek electronic beats from Norway. 

Liveurope is a proud signatory of the Keychange pledge, committed to creating a more inclusive and diverse music world. In 2025, 48% of the shows we supported showcased gender diversity, and we will continue striving to reach at least 50% in the years ahead.
