Liveurope celebrates its launch in Norway with by:Larm
"A music showcase that is so cool, it makes the weather outside seem positively tropical"
- Claire Courtney/FreeTrade Agency
In the beginning of March, the music showcase by:Larm in Oslo gives a foretaste of the future of (Nordic) music and presents the conference audience a hand-picked selection of stimulating talks and inspiring workshops by the representatives of all-round creativity. The Nordic countries don’t lack musical talent – fact proven by global success stories such as Kings of Convenience, MØ, and Sigus Ros. However, getting the talent out there is a whole another story. Providing the needed push, Liveurope will introduce its work in circulating new European music on Friday 5 March.
At 10:45–11:45, Åsmund Prytz from Creative Europe together with Sten Ove Toft, the booking manager of our Oslo-based member venue BLÅ, discuss the meaning of public support for live music.
At 18:00, the platform coordinator Fabien Miclet officially launches the Liveurope programme in Norway. The event takes place in BLÅ and is open to public. Skål, y'all!
