Liveurope to launch new EU grant at ESNS 2025

We’re heading to Groningen from 15 to 18 January 2025 for an exciting edition of ESNS, where we’ll celebrate the launch of our new EU grant!
In collaboration with the European Talent Exchange Programme, we’re hosting a reception to mark the renewal of our EU grants. Our participation also includes a panel discussion organised by the European Commission, where we’ll explore the role of EU-funded platforms and networks in shaping the future of Europe’s music ecosystem.
As a proud steering committee member of the Music Moves Europe Awards, we are looking forward to the ceremony where this year’s winners will be announced. We are also hosting a speed-date lunch to create opportunities for the MME Awards nominees to connect with our bookers.

13:30-14:30 MME Awards Speed Date Lunch with Liveurope & Yourope bookers
The artists nominated for the 2025 edition of the MME Awards are invited to a networking lunch with bookers from Liveurope and Yourope - The European Festival Association. This offers a valuable opportunity for artists to connect with representatives from some of Europe’s top venues and festivals, ask questions, and gain insights on securing touring opportunities and advancing their international careers.

The EU has strengthened its commitment to the European music industry with a four-year investment in Creative Europe’s NET-works and PLAT-forms. These strategic collaborations unite leading organizations across the entire music value chain—from creation and promotion to distribution and beyond—to build a more connected, innovative, and diverse European music ecosystem. In a rapidly changing global landscape, this panel will explore how EU-supported NET-works and PLAT-forms foster collaboration, drive innovation, and create fair opportunities for artists and professionals. Leading voices from across the music ecosystem—including music authors, composers, live music professionals, festivals, venues, export offices, managers, agents, and promoters—will share insights and actionable solutions to empower artists and industry professionals, ensuring the European music sector continues to thrive.

14:30 - 15:00 Liveurope x European Talent Exchange reception (by invitation)
Liveurope and the European Talent Exchange are two flagship EU platforms supporting the next generation of European talent. Together, they have created opportunities for thousands of promising artists to tour internationally and perform at some of Europe’s most iconic music venues and festivals.
Recently selected for EU funding for the next four years, both platforms are set to continue their mission of fostering a more diverse and vibrant European music scene. The reception will be the perfect moment to raise a glass to celebrate their achievements and discover their plans for the years ahead!
