EUphoria 2025

Our annual celebration of Europe through music is back for its 11th edition under the name EUphoria! In these trying times for our continent, we turn to culture and music to build bridges and bring the European project closer to its citizens.
Taking place around Europe Day each year, the event combines engaging discussions on the future of the music sector, networking moments, and live gigs with the next generation of European artists.
With talks on the future EU policy priorities and long-term budget underway, this will be the perfect opportunity to engage in conversation with policy-makers and cultural operators about the place of music and culture in shaping Europe’s future.
Let’s celebrate the resilience and diversity of Europe’s music and culture while imagining the possibilities for a future where creativity and cross-border collaboration continue to thrive.
Registration for the panel discussion and networking reception is mandatory. If you would like to attend, please send an email to contact@liveurope.eu. The concerts are free and open to all, with no registration needed.
Programme
Amid a tapestry of crises, discussions on the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) are picking up speed, with competitiveness and strategic autonomy at the top of the agenda. The decisions made now will shape the European project for years to come. Yet, where do culture and music stand in these high-stakes debates?
The live music sector makes a vital contribution to Europe's values, soft power, and economy, with projections estimating its global value to reach €38bn by 2030. Despite that, it is grappling with paramount challenges that only accelerated after the Covid-19 pandemic, Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and the rise of AI. This is putting at risk its vibrancy, diversity and the very future of the next generation of European artists.
In the face of the challenges surrounding Europe today, it’s time to unite around our shared values and ensure music has a strong place in its future. Join us for this panel where we will explore what the EU can do to foster a strong, diverse and competitive music ecosystem.
