The 6th edition of the Liveurope Festival is coming to Linz!
The sixth edition of the Liveurope Festival will take place in Linz on 5 and 6 December, hosted by our Austrian venue Posthof.
Our flagship festival is an annual meeting point for music venue professionals and a space for music lovers to discover the next generation of European talent. Each year, the festival rotates between our member venues, and after last year’s edition in Prague, we are excited to be headed to the capital of Oberösterreich.
And we’re in for a triple celebration in this edition, as 2024 marks three major anniversaries: 10 years of Liveurope, 40 years of Posthof, and 30 years of Music Austria!
On top of many concerts with fresh European artists, the agenda includes exchanges between music venues and training and coaching sessions for artists to equip them with tools and know-how to boost their international careers.
Programme
Thursday, 5 December
An opportunity to learn more about Liveurope’s work and its impact on the circulation of emerging European artists. Participants will also be the first to hear our results for 2024, as we unveil them firsthand in Linz.
For Liveurope members only.
Friday, 6 December
Our training programme for artists and their entourage aims to strengthen Liveurope's role as a springboard for new European talent.
Organised in partnership with Music Austria, this session will equip up-and-coming European artists with the knowledge and tools to advance their international careers. The participants will also receive one-on-one coaching sessions with some of Europe’s top music venues and receive personalised tips on how to best access specific non-national European markets.
The training will be led by Franz Hergovich, project leader at Austrian Music Export. The coaching sessions will count with the participation of the programmers from the Liveurope venues.
The training and coaching sessions are open to the acts performing in the Liveurope Festival, as well as local emerging artists and their entourage. Registrations are open until 28 November.
By invitation only.
